Wow. Looking past the usual suspects (Justin Bieber, Avril Lavigne, Michael Buble, etc.), the nominees for the 2012 Juno Awards may put a smile on your face. For example, Vancouver’s own Dan Mangan and chanteuse Feist ties some other unnamed behemoths for most noms at a staggering 4, Braids comes up a couple of times (one of my 2011 favourites), Diamond Rings gets a nod for best new artist and the best new group award is stocked with E&TS favourites. I’m pleasantly surprised and stoked for the publicity that will go to these very deserving acts. Click through the link above to see all the nominees.
